The 1st posting

The 1st posting will be a photo of the Sunday ride on 16th Sept in Ayer Keroh. Captain (Ah Chai) from Sin Bee Hin bike shop has been actively recceeing the area and I found it good with up hills and down hills with many beautiful single tracks going through rubber plantation and Tiara golf course. Note of thanks to Pang KN for the photo.

Malacca MTB activities used to be only the usual monthly hash ride. Then a couple of guys, namely Ah Keong, Ah Whye and myself started riding on Friday nights to take advantage of the cool nights and to explore the streets of Malacca. Three became five with the participation of Maj Joshua and Ah Chai. It then slowly grew to 23 and the highest number of Friday night riders was a record of 48! After a few Friday night rides, a number of riders with stronger legs started to complain that the ride was too slow. Thus, the creation of Wednesday night ride for strong riders. Then, these Wednesday riders felt Wednesday was not enough, so Tuesday and sometimes Thursday night ride was form. Now, every Sunday 3pm is off road riding for those who cannot come out of the addiction. As our Captain said, he used to ride once a week, now he rests once a week!

When you've gotta go, you gotta go! Our Captain helping to nourish the grounds.

Easy does it!
